Snow fall amounts ranged from an inch in the northwest part of the county to the highest amount of eight inches reported near Burlington.

A band of higher snowfall rates moved east across Kit Carson and Yuma counties during the overnight hours. Light rain ahead of the snow squall turned to snow as the band of higher snowfall rates moved through. This caused the visibility to fall to a quarter mile or less for a short time. Wind gusts ranged from 30-50 MPH in the snow squall.
Behind the snow squall, snow amounts around six inches were reported. The highest amount was eight inches near Burlington and in far southeast Yuma County.
