Visibility below a quarter mile was reported in Lemoore.

Wider weather episode

The high pressure center which brought record high temperatures to much of the area on January 29 shifted eastward on January 30. Unseasonably warm temperatures prevailed again over the area, but with a weaker inversion over the valley in the San Joaquin Valley in the morning the fog was not as prevalent as it was during the previous day and only patches of dense fog were observed. The fog dissipated shortly after sunrise.
