About 12 inches of snow occurred in the Summerhaven area and surrounding Catalina Mountains. Wind gusts also exceeded 40 mph.

A winter storm with heavy mountain snow and strong winds impacted the Sky Islands of southeast Arizona late February 1 through February 2, 2024. This produced about a foot of snow above 7000 feet along with wind gusts in excess of 40 mph.
