There was a very heavy snow band which extended west to east across Northeast Pennsylvania which brought a period of 2-3/hour snowfall rates for a time to some locations. Temperatures were mainly in the upper 20s to lower 30s through this event, but there was some brief mixing with sleet, freezing rain and drizzle over the Wyoming Valley during the late evening hours on the 6th.
