Three trees were blown down within the county. Of these three trees, one was reported to have specifically came down near the intersection of Foggy Mountain Road and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Damage values are estimated.

Wider weather episode

A strengthening area of low pressure off the East Coast of the US helped to increase wind speeds across the Northwest Mountains of North Carolina. Some of these wind speeds topped 58 MPH, and led to downed trees.
