Several days of well above normal to near record warm high and low temperatures and continued snowmelt led to periods of dense fog over Delta County from the 22nd into the 26th. The dense fog also led to the disruption or cancellation of flights in and out of Delta County Airport in Escanaba. Also, a brown Christmas was observed across Delta County for the first time since 2015.
