A shortwave trough aloft interacted with a frontal boundary across the area, producing snowfall across northeast Wyoming. Amounts of 2 to 5 inches were reported across much of northeast Wyoming, with local amounts around 6 inches in the Wyoming Black Hills and the Newcastle area.
