Several higher elevation SNOTEL stations picked up an estimated 5 to 10 inches of new snowfall.

A Pacific frontal system pushed through California between the late afternoon of February 14 and the early morning of February 15. This system did bring a half to a three quarters of an inch of liquid precipitation to the Sierra Nevada north of Kings Canyon and a quarter to half an inch further south. Elevations above 7000 feet north of Kings Canyon picked up between 4 to 10 inches of estimated snowfall. Much of the San Joaquin Valley north of Kern County received a tenth to a quarter inch of rainfall while Kern County received a tenth of an inch or less.
