Snow measurements within the ridges of Fayette County ranged from 1 to 2 inches. The ridges of WV only had 1 to 1.5 inches of snow.

Slow progression of an upper-level trough created 1 to 2.5 inches of snow along the ridges of Pennsylvania and West Virginia. For the lower elevations, surface temperatures were warm due to daytime heating and warm advection under southwest flow; snow was noted but it mixed at times with rain.
