Wind gust was measured on a personal weather station via WeatherFlow on the Alligator River Bridge.

A strong cold moved eastwards across Eastern North Carolina overnight on Sunday December 10th into the morning hours on Monday December 11th. Out ahead and along this frontal boundary scattered thunderstorms developed with a few of these storms becoming strong to severe in nature producing damaging winds gusts across all the inland rivers and sounds as well as the coastal waters.
