The Upper Nome Creek (UCNA2) SNOTEL reported two bursts of heavy snowfall. Snow depth increased 11 inches. Estimated snowfall of 8 inches in a 24 hour period, with a storm total of 12 to 14 inches.

A series of strong fronts pushed east across Northern Alaska. Heavy snow, strong winds, and blizzard conditions accompanied these fronts.
