Mesonet station GNFHY 10.7 W Emigrant measured multiple gusts in excess of 58 mph, including a 62 mph gust.
The wider storm
Strong zonal to southwesterly flow ahead of a Canadian cold front mixed to the surface across western plains and portions of Central and Southwest Montana. Strong pressure rises behind the Canadian front also resulted in strong winds across the plains of North-central Montana before subsiding on the 26th.
