Observer 4 miles southeast of Colburn recorded 13.1 inches from December 1 through 4. an inch and half was recorded on the December 1. 8 inches of snowfall was recorded on December 2. Another 3.3 was recorded December 3. Three tenths was recorded on the December 4. Several trained spotters throughout Bonner and Boundary counties reported varying amounts of 2 to 10 inches.

A series of shortwaves tracked across North Idaho Panhandle bringing several days of light to moderate snow fall. Snowfall was heaviest in mountains with amounts ranging from 8 to 12 inches. The low lands received amounts ranging from 3 to 8 inches.
