Event narrative

Dense fog contributed to several crashes on interstate 86 near mile marker 55 west of Pocatello. Nine crashes occurred in both the east and west bound lanes at around 930 AM and the interstate didn't re open until 345 PM. Some vehicles caught on fire and up to 10 injuries occurred.
