DOT sensor neat Halstad measured winds gusting in excess of 40mph and up to visibility of a quarter mile or less.

A system ramped up in the Red River Valley the 8th and 9th, with wind spread 3 to 5 inches of snow, a couple reports of 6 and 7 inches combined with winds gusting up to 50 mph in northwestern Minnesota.
