Snow squall passing over portions of Carbon County resulted in one-quarter mile visibility and wind gusts up to 47 mph at the Rawlins Airport ASOS station (KRWL) and the WYDOT sensor along Interstate 80 at Sinclair (WY14).

Wider weather episode

Numerous snow squall moved across the Interstate 80 corridor in southeast Wyoming between Laramie and Rawlins resulting in reductions to visibility in falling and blowing snow with gusty winds during the afternoon of January 12th.
