A winter storm produced 7 to 9 inches of snowfall in Perry County as snow began on the evening of February 16 and continued to fall into the morning of February 17, 2024.

Wider weather episode

Low pressure tracked from the Tennessee Valley eastward across southern Virginia and off the Delmarva Coast, producing a swath of snow across central Pennsylvania from the evening of February 16 into the morning of February 17, 2024. A narrow swath of 6 to 10 inches of snow fell from the Laurel Highlands east-northeastward to the Lehigh Valley, with lesser amounts to the north and south of this heavier swath.
