National gridded snowfall analysis indicated amounts of 2 to 8 inches at elevations above 4500 feet. Precipitation amounts of 1.06 to 2.62 inches were measured.

Wider weather episode

A front was nearly stationary over southern Oregon, providing a long-lived snowfall of mainly light to moderate intensity at elevations above 4500 feet in northern California. The heaviest snow occurred during the last 24 hours as a new area of low pressure enhanced the strength of the front.
