Vehicle stuck in floodwaters blocking the slow lane of the offramp from southbound California Route 85 to Fremont Avenue.

Wider weather episode

Scattered thunderstorms developed on March 6 and caused flooding in several areas. The most intense flooding occurred near Salinas and Prunedale, where a stationary thunderstorm developed around 12 Noon. This storm produced torrential rainfall with one observer in North Salinas reporting 1 of rain in 25 minutes.
