Slow lane starting to collapse with a crack approximately 10 feet long at the offramp from southbound Interstate 680 to El Pintado Road.

Scattered thunderstorms developed on March 6 and caused flooding in several areas. The most intense flooding occurred near Salinas and Prunedale, where a stationary thunderstorm developed around 12 Noon. This storm produced torrential rainfall with one observer in North Salinas reporting 1 of rain in 25 minutes.
