The Department of Highways reported a tree and wires downed at 146 AM Local Standard Time on February 29, 2024. The incident resulted in a road closure in both directions on NY Route 100 in Valhalla, NY between Stephens Lane and Westchester Community College. In addition, a measured high wind gust of 59 mph was recorded at the mesonet station, Tappan Zee Light 14, nearby Briarcliff Manor, NY, at 1156 PM Local Standard Time on February 28, 2024.
