A quick hitting snow storm started just after midnight on the 13th and brought a period of moderate to briefly heavy snow to portions of the Wyoming Valley and Poconos. Snow became heavy at times between 2 and 9 AM EST. The storm moved off to the east by the late morning hours and the snow came to an end.
