California Highway Patrol reported multiple large branches down on eastbound Interstate-80. They also reported a tree down, blocking the road at Courtland Road and Morse Road. Davis Airport reported gusts to 40 mph, Sacramento Executive Airport reported gusts to 36 mph, and Sacramento International Airport reported gusts to 46 mph.

An active weather pattern brought gusty winds with downed trees, heavy rain and mountain snow with mountain travel delays and chain restrictions, and isolated thunderstorms to end the month of January, and continued into early February.
