A cooperative observer near Moran estimated a tenth of an inch of ice. Some car accidents were reported including one with a suspected injury near Humboldt.

Wider weather episode

There were periods of light freezing rain or freezing drizzle which resulted in ice accumulations up to a tenth of an inch in southeast Kansas. Slick roadways occurred and there were several vehicular accidents across south central and southeast Kansas.
