Law enforcement estimated a tenth of an inch of ice and stated that the roads were horrible across the county due to slick conditions. There were several vehicular accidents with a couple of suspected or possible injuries reported.

Wider weather episode

There were periods of light freezing rain or freezing drizzle which resulted in ice accumulations up to a tenth of an inch in southeast Kansas. Slick roadways occurred and there were several vehicular accidents across south central and southeast Kansas.
