Strong and gusty northwest to north winds impacted the Western Range of the San Gabriel Mountains. Some peak wind gusts included: Sombrero Road (gust 64 MPH), Camp Nine RAWS (gust 62 MPH) and Sierra Pelona West (gust 58 MPH).

Wider weather episode

A second round of gusty northwest to north winds impacted sections of Southwestern California. Wind gusts, up to 70 MPH, were reported.
