Strong and gusty northwest to north winds impacted the Eastern Range of the San Gabriel Mountains. Some peak gusts include: Crystal Lake Road (gust 71 MPH), Barley Flats (gust 61 MPH) and Rincon OHV Trail (gust 58 MPH).
The wider storm
A third round of strong and gusty north winds impacted many sections of Southwestern California. Wind gusts, up to 78 MPH, were reported.
