Cold/Wind Chill in Baraga, Michigan

Bitter cold wind chills from 20 to 25 below zero were reported across portions of Baraga County. Schools were delayed on the 16th to the effects of the cold.

Bitter cold Arctic air funneling into the area on the backside of a low stationed over southern Hudson Bay resulted in dangerously cold wind chills across porttions of Upper Michigan from late evening on the 15th into the morning of the 16th.
