Event narrative

Freezing drizzle led to some slick spots on the roadways. There were several vehicular accidents with some that had possible or suspected injuries. Six individuals were transported to the hospital.

Wider weather episode

There were periods of light freezing rain or freezing drizzle which resulted in ice accumulations up to a tenth of an inch in southeast Kansas. Slick roadways occurred and there were several vehicular accidents across south central and southeast Kansas.
