A van went off the roadway near a large amount of flooding in lanes 3 and 4 of Interstate 280 at the Bunker Hill onramp.

Wider weather episode

A cold front moved through central California on March 1 and 2, with gusty winds and scattered thunderstorms. Radar indicated rotation in Monterey Bay would result in the first Tornado Warnings issued by the Monterey/San Francisco Bay Area office since March 2011. No damage was noted in a subsequent survey.
