LSR and CoCoRaHS reports showed 2-7 inches of snowfall across the zone. A trained spotter NW of Strasburg reported 7 inches of snow. Radar returns and satellite the next day showed a near swath of heavier snow slightly west of Strasburg.

Wider weather episode

Convection/thunderstorm on Sunday afternoon (3/24) caused temperatures to rapidly drop with a quick change over to snow. From 60 degrees to snow in less than 3 hours.
