The highest snowfall totals were generally from the Spearfish to Sturgis areas, and also across parts of northwest into central South Dakota, where 5 to 10 inches was mostly reported. Elsewhere across the northern Black Hills area and the west central South Dakota plains, amounts of 2 to 6 inches were reported in most areas.
