Event narrative

Widespread roadway flooding occurred in the tidal communities of lower Bucks County. The tide gauge at Burlington (Burlington County, New Jersey) reached 10.58 feet MLLW, and the tide gauge at Newbold reached 11.26 feet MLLW.

Wider weather episode

Strong onshore flow with a potent storm moving up the NJ/Delaware coast resulted in water piling up along the New Jersey coast and within the back bays. Water also was pushed up the Delaware Bay, which also resulted in tidal flooding within the Delaware River.
