A prolonged period of upslope snow took place due to a cutoff low that developed over New England. There was a large spread in accumulation amounts relative to elevation. For elevations above 3,500 feet, total snow accumulation around 6 to 10 inches occurred. For elevations between 2,500 and 3,500 feet, accumulations around 1 to 3 inches were observed with lesser amounts below 2,500 feet.
