A strong upper-level system moved slowly across the region, bringing beneficial precipitation to much of northeast Wyoming. Rain turned fairly quickly over to snow across the area during the late day and evening hours of the 6th. Snowfall was heaviest over much of Campbell County and the Bear Lodge Mountains, where 6 inches to around a foot of accumulation was reported. Gusty winds to around 50 mph produced some blowing snow during the morning hours of the 7th.
