At 7:14 AM, Toledo Executive Airport measured a 59 MPH wind gust. These strong winds caused some tree damage and power-outages.

Wider weather episode

Strong low pressure lifted out of the lower Mississippi Valley and into the Great Lakes January 12th and 13th. Strong southeasterly winds ahead of the low caused damage to parts of northern Ohio during the evening of January 12th, particularly near the Lake Erie shoreline from Cleveland points northeast. Strong westerly winds behind the low caused additional damage to parts of northern Ohio on January 13th.
