Drought conditions improved with the southern areas of the county improving to moderate drought (D1), but the north and northeast areas of the county remain in severe drought (D2).

Wider weather episode

Drought conditions worsened some or remained the same, but no areas of severe drought (D2) expanded. In fact, severe drought (D2) decreased across the region. There were a number of areas that moved back into abnormally dry (D0) and moderate drought (D1) but again no new areas of severe drought (D2).
