Power poles and power lines were blown down near Garrett Bridge.

A cold front moved into Arkansas from the Southern Plains. Temperatures across Arkansas were in the mid 70s and low 80s on the afternoon of March 4th. A handful of thunderstorms developed ahead of the front in which a few became severe. Large hail and damaging winds were common with the storms that became severe across the central and eastern portions of the state.
