A trained spotter relayed a report of a large oak tree which was downed on Mount Pisgah Church Rd, about one half mile NE of the bridge over the Lynches River. Time estimated.

Considerable atmospheric instability and deep-layer shear produced severe thunderstorms in the late afternoon along a cold frontal boundary that was stretched across the NE Midlands of SC.
