Local utility company reported 307 residents estimated to be without power just east of the Twin Lakes at 2149LST. Gold Mountain Raws recorded a max gust of 47 MPH at 2111LST. Winds were sustained in the teens with gusts into the 30s and 40s for the period.
Wider weather episode
A strong cold front brought heavy snow and strong winds to portions of Eastern Washington. Snow reports across the region ranged from 2 to 5 inches. The Cascades received the most with Stevens Pass recording 36 inches. Winds were breezy across the Columbia Basin with gusts into the into the 40s MPH.
