AWOS site KEAN, located 1 mile east northeast of Wheatland reported this peak wind gust. The WYDOT weather sensor at Coleman, located 13 miles south of Glendo on Interstate 25 also reported a wind gust to 59 mph during this time.

Wider weather episode

A fairly widespread strong wind event occurred across the southeast Wyoming plains and south Laramie Range from 15 to 16 April.
