A volunteer observer reported nickel sized hail near Cazenovia.

A long-lived low pressure system churned from the Central to Northern Plains February 7th through February 8th. Initial impacts in southeast Minnesota were limited to rain until the evening of the 8th when a narrow line of strong storms provided nickel sized hail in Cazenovia (Richland County).
