The observers in and southeast of Wilder, as well as the observer located 3 miles east northeast of Alexandria all measured 1.8 inches of snow.

Wider weather episode

A low pressure system passing south rapidly moved east during the evening of the 16th. Widespread moderate to heavy snow north of the system was found across the region, generally along and south of the I-70 corridor.
