In Marysville, 7 inches of snow was measured. Additional reports from southeast of Marysville measured 6.1 inches, and 2 miles north of the city had 6 inches of snow. Lesser amounts were measured in the northern portions of the county.

Wider weather episode

A low pressure system passing south rapidly moved east during the evening of the 16th. Widespread moderate to heavy snow north of the system was found across the region, generally along and south of the I-70 corridor.
