A Tempest weather station in Rockport along the bay observed a wind gust up to 52 mph. Wind gusts of at least 39 mph persisted from 7-9 AM CST.

Strong thunderstorms associated with a Pacific front during the early morning hours of February 3rd, resulted in numerous reports of special marine thunderstorm winds of at least 39 mph along the Middle Texas Coast.
