A Tempest weather station in Rockport along the bay off of Oyster Lane observed a wind gust of 48 mph.
The wider storm
Strong thunderstorms associated with a Pacific front during the early morning hours of February 3rd, resulted in numerous reports of special marine thunderstorm winds of at least 39 mph along the Middle Texas Coast.
Began near Copano Bay (28.0689, -97.1109).
