The Koliganek AWOS recorded visibility down to 1/4 to 1/2 mile with 30 to 37 mph sustained winds in snow and blowing snow between 5:30 AM and 8:30 AM AKST 2/5.

Wider weather episode

A storm force Bering Sea low pushed a front up into the Southwest Alaska coast between 2/4 and 2/5. Temperatures remained cold enough for precipitation to fall as snow, and strong southeasterly winds caused areas of significant falling and blowing snow along portions of the coast as the frontal system moved through.
