The Haines Customs COOP at 40 mile Haines Highway recorded a minimum temperature of 28 degrees in the morning of the 1st. The nearby DOT RWIS station at 36 mile and 25 mile also measured temperatures at or below 32 degrees between midnight and 7am.

Wider weather episode

Clearing skies allowed temperatures to dip to 28 degrees over portions of the inner channels in the early morning hours of May 1st.
