Here are some of the heavier snowfall amounts: 15.8 inches fell 4.6 mile northeast of Ward, 11.6 inches 1.8 miles south of Estes Park, 11.0 fell 4 miles east-northeast of Nederland.

An upper level low tracked east-northeast across Colorado bringing heavy snow to the foothills and mountains. For the Urban Corridor and plains, it was warm enough for rain with amounts 1 to 2.5 inches. The heaviest snow fell over the northern Front Range mountains, in Boulder and Larimer Counties. SNOTEL estimates reached 23 inches 3 north-northeast of Mount Audubon in Boulder County.
