Event narrative

Extreme(D3) drought continued throughout the month. The Cooperative Observer in Antelope Wells reported 0.19 inches of precipitation which was 0.18 inches below normal.

Wider weather episode

Above normal precipitation for areas of Grant and Sierra counties improved drought conditions there. Little to no precipitation further south kept Severe(D2) to Extreme(D3) drought going through the month.
